Visible Loans Reference Implementation

One long-standing problem facing LIXI members seeking to implement the LIXI standards has been the time- and resource-intensive nature of making point-to-point connections. One way around this problem, at least for some types of transactions, would be to adopt a "publish-and-subscribe" approach in place of the usual point-to-point model. The LIXI/NICTA Visible Loans project has created a reference implementation and associated documentation demonstrating how this can be done, with specific reference to distributing loan product information.

NICTA provides this material free to LIXI members, with all standard caveats, such as no warranties of any kind including fit-for-purpose and non-infringement, etc.  You have to use at your own risk, and you can't re-distribute without discussing it with NICTA first.

RESTful business processes, adaptive platforms and process mash-ups are all active R&D areas for NICTA, and there may be additional material available from NICTA (eg., advanced versions released under license) to support implementations of this technology in different environments. Furthermore, NICTA expertise may also be made available to assist with specific implementations.  Please contact NICTA directly to discuss further.
