As you may be aware, there have been some changes to the make-up
of the various Sub-committees recently. I’d like to thank
Mike Thanos for the effort he has put into the Technical Sub-committee.
Mike has left us to take up the position of Chair of the newly
created Intellectual Property Sub-committee. I would also like
to welcome new members of the Technical Sub-committee – Erik
Fenna and Andrew Morrison, and thank the continuing members,
Joe Phelan and Barry Thomas.
While we are discussing changes, I’d like to take this
opportunity to remind everyone that you don’t need to
be a LIXI Director to join any sub-committee. So particularly
if you’re interested in helping out with the Technical
Sub-committee please email me ().
Also, as mentioned above we have just created an Intellectual
Property (IP) Sub-committee. IP is a key asset of the LIXI
organisation and the purpose of this group is to recognise
and protect this asset.
Finally, I’d like to remind everyone of the exciting
work being done by Barry Thomas and the Product Working Group.
Please keep an eye out for notices about upcoming meetings,
we need your help and participation to deliver on this ambitious
initiative in 2006.
