The media has again promoted LIXI’s achievements in
bringing e-commerce standards to the mortgage industry.
The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald recently featured an
article on the front cover of their ‘Next’ IT section.
Entitled “Dead end on paper trail”, it featured
comments from board members Socrates Vasiliadis and Erik Fenna
and predicted an end to paper-based loan transactions.
The article profiled several companies implementing CAL-based
systems including NextGen.Net and Aussie.
“These articles show LIXI is making real changes to the
Australian mortgage industry and that the business benefits
are already being felt” says Sharon Waterhouse, Chair
of the Communications Sub-committee.
Coverage in The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald follows
on from LIXI winning an Innovation Award from MIS Magazine
which profiled the group in a feature in its September edition.
These articles are part of an ongoing PR campaign that promotes
LIXI to business, finance and IT journalists at major newspapers
and magazines Australia wide.
