APIR Systems Limited
APIR was formed in 1993 and is the industry standard coding
agency for the wealth management industry. APIR maintains
directories of statutory information on managed funds, superannuation
and insurance as well as on participants such as responsible
entities, trustees and fund managers. Critically, APIR allocates
unique codes to this data and maintains the data over time.
Because APIR is independent and their directories are publicly
available, APIR’s databases are the source of the truth
for the industry, being used extensively by diverse groups
such as regulators, the ATO, research houses, advisers, platforms,
fund managers and administration companies.
