The Products and Commissions Working Groups are both eagerly
awaiting the publication of draft schema by the Vocabulary
Working Group. One candidate draft for Products has been published
on the LIXI site and will be followed shortly by another alternative.
The draft Commissions schema will be published shortly as well.
All members with an interest in these standards are invited
to view and comment on the drafts.
The “Visible Loans” project with NICTA is progressing
well, with an RSS feed client for disseminating Product files
well underway. This project is aiming to demonstrate how the
use of common internet publication technologies based on the
RSS standard could make LIXI-based communications significantly
easier to establish and maintain.
Online Requirements for CAL 2.0 have also been established
on the LIXI site. At present this is very much a collaborative
discussion paper and we would love to have more members expressing
their opinions by adding comments to the document.
