LIXI™ @ Work

Thanks to our contributors

Domenic Romeo of Macquarie Bank has demonstrated exemplary patience shepherding the Products Working Group through seemingly endless meetings. In his role as Working Group Convener he has remained calm, positive and focused on results despite the many frustrations this group has had to overcome. Domenic is a great example of the “positive persistence” that is so essential in standards development and we would like to thank him for his contribution to LIXI.

Paul Bridgestock of Mortgage Choice was a major contributor to the first version of LIXI’s Commissions standard and is now taking a leading role in developing the next version. His efforts have been particularly focused on ensuring that major lenders will be able to quickly get practical and effective implementations of the standard into operation. Paul is one of those rare individuals who combine a solid grasp of technical issues with a deep understanding of the business problem we are attempting to address. The contributions of people like Paul are essential for LIXI’s ongoing development and we thank him for his hard work.

Andrew Morrison was on the Board of LIXI from Nov 2005 to Nov 2006 as well as being a founding member of LIXI’s Intellectual Property Sub-Committee and a member of the Technical Sub-Committee. Andrew’s involvement and commitment to LIXI began long before he joined the Board and continues today.

Andrew has been a key member who has been active in every aspect of LIXI. In 2006 he added his special talent to two issues — a review of our business strategy designed to ensure that LIXI remained aligned to member’ needs; and significant involvement in the IP committee team working closely with the Board to design a new membership model.

LIXI would like to say a public thank you to Andrew for his commitment to LIXI and the mortgage lending industry during the time he was on the LIXI Board.
