After a brief pause following the release of CAL 1.2 earlier
this year the pace is really beginning to pick up again on the
technical front. Work is well underway to add support for the
settlements process to CAL and new working groups looking at
commissions and at loan management will be starting up shortly.
While each of these working groups already has strong support
new participants are always welcomed so please feel free to
join in the fun.
For those of you who already have systems in place or planned
using CAL 1.2 it is important to realise that you will only
have to modify your systems if and when you want to make use
of the new support for settlements, commissions and loan management
– existing support in CAL for broker submissions, valuations
and mortgage insurance will remain unchanged.
Details of all ongoing and planned work can be found in the

LIXI website in early September.
