LIXI for Developers and Analysts course
The Lending Industry XML Initiative (LIXI) was founded to streamline
mortgage processing in the Australian market and it is having
a profound effect on the movement of information between organisations
in the industry.
To help the industry better understand and implement LIXI’s
Credit Application Language (CAL), we are pleased to announce
that places are now available for a one-day “Introduction
to LIXI for Analysts and Developers” training course.
Course Objectives
This course will focus on three specific areas
of CAL
Syntax
- Design philosophy
- Batch level and Segment level
- Structural step through of CAL.
Mapping
- use of elements
- mapping and documenting implementation
- assessing where to extend CAL
- using Namespaces to extend CAL for additional backend requirements.
Implementation
- Datatype testing
- Language conventions
- Coding standards and libraries, etc.
- Transitioning between minor CAL version
- Issues with transitioning to version 2.0.
Who should attend?
- Anyone who needs to understand CAL in the detail necessary
to plan, develop and deploy LIXI-aware software or systems.
Classes will be held on 8th June in Sydney and 10th
